My name is Sabrina. I am funny, articulate, and creative. I am a fine arts graduate from the University of the Philippines, Diliman. I also have a certificate in professional education from the same school. I have worked as a graphic designer and as a blogger for individual clients and companies. I have been using English as my second language for more than 30 years and I have experienced its great value in understanding myself more and the world.
I have been teaching ESL learners of different ages, levels, and nationalities for 10 years. I have taught at a premier all-girls school in Manila and at an international school in China. I have also supervised individual and group classes using strategies, such as communicative approach, cooperative learning, and total physical response. Moreover, I try my best to update my knowledge and skills by taking part in workshops on relevant teaching methods. As a teacher, I apply these methods and educational tools to help my students use English in real-life situations and become critical and creative thinkers, collaborators, and communicators.
